Kitchens are always take a little extra time and care. In this job we covered the kitchen in plastic. When the marble is resurfaced, it will produce a lot of wet marble slurry and if the kitchen is not protected the marble slurry will splash all over the kitchen doors. After covering the kitchen in plastic, Carrara Stone Restoration will commence repairing any holes, cracks and damaged marble. We then resurface the stone, which will take a quarter of a mil off the top of the marble. Resurfacing the stone will remove any scratches and dull patches caused by heat, acid and day to day stains. Once resurfaced we apply a 5 star top sealer and then will polish your marble to obtain the shine you that you desire. Some people like a matt look and others enjoy a high gloss look.
